A Little bit about me

My name is Melissa Morris and ever since I was a little girl, animals have stolen my heart. I wanted to be a Veterinarian until I realized I didn’t want to work with animals that were hurt, sick or dying. When I was 8yrs old I found abandon baby bunnies that I fed formula  every few hours until they were old enough to release. I also saved baby birds and fed them worms every few hours until they started hopping around and could release them. I have volunteered at animal shelters, and was a foster mom to baby kittens with special needs.

When I went off to college I took an aptitude test to help me decide which direction I should pursue my studies. Test results showed the best job for me was a Killer Whale Trainer. LOL But honestly it didn’t surprise me.

To find myself  breeding the Savannah cat is no surprise at all. I have the privliege of staying home with my kids/cats, which allows me dedicated time into raising these beautiful, rare, exotic, hybrid cats.

What sets me apart from many of the other Savannah breeders is all of our kittens are raised IN our home with my family of 4 young children. These cats are our pets and their kittens are loved on from the moment they are born. Our babies are used to dance parties, and dress up, and lots of snuggle time making our kittens the most socialized, from the outpouring of love my kids, myself and my husband show towards these amazing animals.
